We firmly believe that Pride doesn’t end in June. Pride is a never-ending celebration of support, awareness, and inclusion. The Velvet Rage (Alan Downs)
The Velvet Rage: Overcoming the Pain of Growing Up Gay in a Straight Man's World is an influential 2005 book by Alan Downs, a clinical psychologist. It argues that shame is a significant motivation for many gay men.
Stonewall (Martin Duberman)
The definitive history of the Stonewall riots, the first Gay Rights March, and the LGBTQ+ people at the center of the movement.
Less (Andrew Sean Greer)
Less is a 2017 satirical comedy novel by American author Andrew Sean Greer. It follows writer Arthur Less while he travels the world on a literary tour to numb his loss of the man he loves. It won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
Rainbow Milk (Paul Mendez)
Rainbow Milk is a semi-autobiographical novel that tells the story of Jesse McCarthy, a Black gay man who flees his home after being outed by community members.

Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit is a coming-of-age story about a lesbian girl who grows up in an English Pentecostal community.
The Price of Salt (Patricia Highsmith)
The Price of Salt is a 1952 romance novel by Patricia Highsmith that pushed the boundaries of lesbian fiction. Because of this, the book was first published under the pseudonym "Claire Morgan."
